Hialeah-Miami Lakes and Reagan are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2021, but not for long. The Trojans will square off against the Bison at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Last Thursday, Hialeah-Miami Lakes made easy work of Northwestern and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Bulls: they've now won four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-6, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Reagan got the win against Hialeah on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bison.

Reagan never let Hialeah on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-22, 25-21.

Hialeah-Miami Lakes better keep an eye on Fabrizio Aranibar. He was instrumental in Reagan's win, getting 11 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Aranibar has posted since back in May of 2024. William Camacho also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

Reagan's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1. As for Hialeah-Miami Lakes, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.

Hialeah-Miami Lakes came out on top in a nail-biter against Reagan in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bison turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
