Volleyball Recap: Solon Takes a Loss

Solon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Twinsburg Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 9th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-14, 20-25, 25-10.

Solon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Twinsburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Solon will challenge rival North Royalton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Twinsburg is set to face off against their familiar foe Nordonia at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
