Football Recap: Brunswick Comes Up Short

Brunswick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 29-10 to the South Carroll Cavaliers. The Railroaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cavaliers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for South Carroll, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5.

Coming up, Brunswick will take on Walkersville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Railroaders will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 25.86 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for South Carroll, they will head out to square off against Winters Mill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons' defense has only allowed 7.2 points per game this season, so the Cavaliers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
