Volleyball Game Preview: Hortonville Polar Bears vs. Neenah Rockets + Official Tickets

The Hortonville Polar Bears will head out to challenge the Neenah Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hortonville is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Hortonville lost 3-0 to Notre Dame Academy on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 25-17.

Neenah not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 2nd (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Sheboygan North with a sharp 3-0 win. The Rockets haven't had any issues with the Golden Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

One reason for the win was Neenah's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16, 25-14.

Hortonville better focus on containing Malachi Vang and Colton Kreger as the pair were huge in Neenah's win. Vang had 14 digs and two aces, while Kreger had six digs. Those 14 digs gave Vang a new career-high.

Neenah was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Neenah's record now sits at 10-12. As for Hortonville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.
