Football Recap: Uniontown Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Uniontown lost against Albert Gallatin back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Red Raiders had to suffer through a 46-10 loss at the hands of the Colonials. The Red Raiders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-0.

Brayden Hinzy threw for 41 yards and one TD. Marcus Evans was his top target, picking up 29 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Taylor Galloway rushed for 36 yards.

It was another big night for Adam Pegg, who rushed for 109 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries, and also picked up 52 receiving yards and one touchdown for Albert Gallatin. Pegg's longest reception was for an impressive 52 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total. Another player making a difference was Tee Guesman, who rushed for 112 yards and one TD on only 13 carries.

Uniontown now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Albert Gallatin, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Uniontown will host Carrick at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Red Raiders will be up against the Raiders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.8 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Albert Gallatin, they will head out on the road to take on Allegany at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
