If Milford was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Lakeland on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mavericks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bloomfield Hills Black Hawks on Saturday. The Mavericks' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lexa Pierson paced Milford's offense, picking up 13 kills. Pierson got some help from Ryleigh Johnston and her 18 assists.
