Baseball Recap: Suncoast Victorious

Suncoast came out on top against Dr. Joaquin Garcia on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Chargers walked away with a 7-2 win over the Bulldogs. For the Chargers, this counts as revenge for the 8-4 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2025.

Nic Pascocello was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Suncoast is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 2-4 otherwise. Pascocello was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brayden Moore, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Suncoast's record now sits at 4-5. As for Dr. Joaquin Garcia, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.

Suncoast has already played their next matchup, a 12-2 win against Santaluces on the 5th. As for Dr. Joaquin Garcia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-1 loss against Wellington on the 5th.
