Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northshore). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Lakeshore 77-44. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while Lakeshore are ranked 112th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Northshore has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for Lakeshore, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northshore will take on East Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lakeshore, they will face off against Hammond at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Hammond is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.9 points per game this season.
