Softball Recap: Don Bosco Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Don Bosco's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Grundy Center Spartans on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Dons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Don Bosco now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Grundy Center, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Don Bosco wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 6-5 defeat against Janesville on the 7th. As for Grundy Center, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Dike-New Hartford on the 9th.
