It was a proper cat-fight when Pine Grove challenged Belmont on Saturday. The Panthers came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 on Saturday.

The victory made it two in a row for Pine Grove and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1. As for Belmont, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coming up, Pine Grove is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Ingomar at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Belmont, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against North Pontotoc at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
