Sam Robertson gave up the fewest hits he has since back in March on Monday. He turned in nothing short of a gem, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Thornwell is 2-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 2-10 otherwise.

Robertson's effort led Thornwell over Calhoun Falls Charter and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Flashes are limping into the matchup having lost eight straight on the road dating back to last season.
