The Cardinal Stritch Cardinals will head out on the road to square off against the Start Spartans at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Cardinal Stritch comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Cardinal Stritch's last matchup with Woodmore could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Saturday. The Cardinals lost 16-5 to the Wildcats. On the bright side, the five- run effort marked the Cardinals' highest-scoring contest to date.

Meanwhile, after only one run in their last game, Start made sure to put some runs up on the board against Northwood on Saturday. The Spartans were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Rangers. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Rangers: they've now won three in a row.

Joe Buck made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Buck was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
