Softball Recap: Rochester Snags 17th Win in Last 18 Games

Rochester extended their postseason success on Thursday against Manchester. They put the hurt on the Squires with a sharp 16-1 victory. Considering the Zebras have won 11 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Aubrey Wilson was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Miller, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Rochester always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .686. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Manchester only posted an OBP of .391.

Rochester is on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Manchester, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-15.

As of now, neither Rochester nor the Squires have any future games scheduled.
