Elijah Genenbacher Turns in Season-Best Performance

Elijah Genenbacher produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Camp Point Central to the win on Friday. Genenbacher rushed for 102 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries, and also threw for 58 yards and a touchdown. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 63 yards.

If the past is any indication, Genenbacher could be in store for another big game when he takes on Carrollton on Saturday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Genenbacher saw the Hawks), he rushed for 75 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries.

On the season, Niekamp has run in 5 touchdowns while averaging 47 rushing yards per game.
