Baseball Recap: Wheatland's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Wheatland came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Lincoln Cardinals 9-1. The Mules might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 games by seven runs or more this season.

Wheatland pushed their record up to 23-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-12.

Wheatland has already played their next contest, a 9-8 win against Sacred Heart on the 10th. As for Lincoln, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Crest Ridge at 4:30 p.m.
