Basketball Recap: Logan Takes a Loss

If Logan was feeling good fresh off their 76-28 takedown of Mingo Central last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Logan Wildcats fell just short of the Wyoming East Warriors by a score of 65-63 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Wildcats have suffered since January 5, 2024.

Logan dropped their record down to 13-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Wyoming East, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-3.

Logan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wyoming East, they will square off against Summers County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wyoming East knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Summers County likes a good challenge.
