Franklin Academy is 0-4 against Sheridan Hills Christian since December of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Franklin Academy Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Sheridan Hills Christian Sharks at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Franklin Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matches.
Last Friday, Franklin Academy didn't have too much trouble with Somerset Academy Central Miramar on the road as they won 62-46.
Meanwhile, Sheridan Hills Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 52-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Don Soffer Aventura.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Micah Smith, who scored 14 points along with three steals and two blocks. Another player making a difference was AJ Seay, who scored seven points along with six steals.
Franklin Academy's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-3. As for Sheridan Hills Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4.
Franklin Academy came up short against Sheridan Hills Christian in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 48-37. Can Franklin Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
