Softball Recap: Lakeview Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Reynolds, Lakeview was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Eisenhower Knights get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The Sailors not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 1, 2024.

Gracie Harbaugh was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Morgan Voelker, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.

The victory got Lakeview back to even at 1-1. As for Eisenhower, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeview will welcome West Middlesex at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eisenhower, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hickory at 12:00 p.m. on April 5.
