West Cabarrus has gone a perfect 3-0 against Northwest Cabarrus recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wolverines are taking a road trip to take on the Trojans at 7:30 p.m. West Cabarrus knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Northwest Cabarrus likes a good challenge.

On Friday, West Cabarrus didn't have too much trouble with Corvian Community as they won 60-41.

Meanwhile, Northwest Cabarrus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 61-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cox Mill.

Northwest Cabarrus' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for West Cabarrus, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

West Cabarrus took their win against Northwest Cabarrus in their previous meeting back in December of 2021 by a conclusive 69-47 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
