Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Valor Preparatory Academy). They breezed by the Holy Trinity Catholic Celtics to the tune of 71-14 on Friday. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 21 points or more this season.

The win snapped Valor Preparatory Academy's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-5 record. As for Holy Trinity Catholic, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valor Preparatory Academy will challenge Bruceville-Eddy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Holy Trinity Catholic, they will square off against Central Texas Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th. Central Texas Christian's defense has only allowed 28.7 points per game this season, so Holy Trinity Catholic's offense will have their work cut out for them.
