Basketball Game Preview: Klein Collins Tigers vs. Magnolia West Mustangs

The Klein Collins Tigers will take on the Magnolia West Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Klein Collins' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.

Last Friday, Klein Collins came up short against Klein Forest and fell 63-56.

Meanwhile, Magnolia West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were dealt a 66-32 loss at the hands of Klein Forest. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1164th, while the Eagles are ranked 377th).

Klein Collins' defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points over those games. As for Magnolia West, their loss dropped their record down to 5-26.
