Football Recap: Fairfax Stampede vs. North Mustangs
Fairfax was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 22-14 to the North Mustangs. The Stampede lost against the Mustangs in their previous head to head back in September of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 54-14 score last time.
Fairfax's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Marcus Mackey, who rushed for 163 yards while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Vincent Quadrozzi was in the mix too, providing Fairfax with two touchdowns.
