Marion won the last time they faced Gonzales and things went their way on Friday too. The Marion Bulldogs blew past the Gonzales Apaches 66-40. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.

Marion's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Travis Randle, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Moltz, who went 5 for 7 on his way to 12 points.

Marion is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Gonzales, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Marion didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-57 win against Young Men's Leadership Academy on the 14th. Gonzales has also already played their next contest, a 71-28 defeat against Davenport on the 13th.
