Skyline and East are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Eagles will square off against the Leopards at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Skyline sitting on four straight wins and East on three.

Skyline barely beat Olympus the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles never let the Titans get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Friday. The game was the first time Skyline have beaten Olympus on their pitch since April 13, 2022.

Nico Golesis and Andrew Lipson scored all three of Skyline's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Meanwhile, East and West faced off in a cross-town battle on Friday. The Leopards beat the Panthers by a goal, winning 2-1. Given East's advantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked third, while West are ranked 43rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

East pushed their record up to 15-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those seven matches. As for Skyline, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

Skyline couldn't quite get it done against East in their previous meeting back in March as they fell 2-0. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
