Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Oxford Hornets a 15-0 shutout on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Vikings considering their two-run performance the match before.

Ferri Ava made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (two).
