Basketball Game Preview: A&M Consolidated Tigers vs. Aldine Mustangs

The A&M Consolidated Tigers will take on the Aldine Mustangs in a tournament on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

A&M Consolidated is coming into the contest on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight wins. They came out on top against Eastwood by a score of 58-48 on Friday.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Aldine, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 47-40 victory over Memorial on Tuesday.

Aldine's win came from a few key players A&M Consolidated will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jorge Castro, who posted seven points along with eight boards and three steals. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (three). Jameson Kegler was another key player, putting up eight points and four steals.

A&M Consolidated's win bumped their record up to 3-6-1. As for Aldine, their victory ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 8-9.

A&M Consolidated came up short against Aldine when the teams last played back in December of 2015, falling 57-51. Can A&M Consolidated avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
