Volleyball Recap: McConnellsburg Takes a Loss

McConnellsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Washington Patriots.

McConnellsburg's loss dropped their record down to 8-5-1. As for Washington, they moved to 4-13-3 with that win, which also ended their five-match losing streak.

Coming up, McConnellsburg will head out on the road to square off against Southern Huntingdon County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Washington, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Glendale on the 27th.
