Basketball Recap: Clinton Central Falls to Bethesda Christian in First Game of Season

Clinton Central had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Bethesda Christian Patriots, falling 76-49. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 19 in a row.

Clinton Central's loss came despite strong showings from Kyson Albaugh and Jackson Shoup. Albaugh went 5-for-11 en route to 12 points and three steals, while Shoup posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Amrin Barrett, who earned 14 points.

Looking ahead, Clinton Central will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against South Newton at 7:00 p.m. As for Bethesda Christian, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Danville at 8:30 p.m. on December 5.
