Ashland had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the eight-goal drubbing they dealt New Philadelphia on Saturday. The Arrows' defense stepped up to hand the Quakers an 8-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for Ashland in their matchups with New Philadelphia: they've now won four in a row.

Ashland's offense was hitting New Philadelphia from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Haylee Bond led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.
