Northeast came tearing into Wednesday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Academy at Palumbo Griffin. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

Northeast was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-22, 26-24, 25-13.

Northeast's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. As for Academy at Palumbo, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-7 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeast will challenge Thomas A. Edison at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Academy at Palumbo, they will square off against Lower Merion at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
