Volleyball Recap: Arrowhead Takes Down Ranked Oak Creek

Arrowhead faced Oak Creek in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Warhawks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Knights. The Warhawks not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0).

The 3-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-22, 25-23.

Arrowhead was led to victory by Georgia House and Kenzie Draeger. House had 13 digs and one assist, while Draeger had ten digs. Those ten digs gave Draeger a new career-high.

Arrowhead is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-12 record this season. As for Oak Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Arrowhead will challenge Pewaukee at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Oak Creek, they will face off against Mukwonago at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
