Preview: Rogers Rams vs. Lincoln Abes
The Rogers Rams will be home for the holidays to greet the Lincoln Abes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rogers has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 609 points over their last nine matches.
Even though South Eugene scored an imposing 78 points on Saturday, Rogers still came out on top. Rogers walked away with an 86-78 victory over South Eugene.
Rogers' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amanna Anusiem, who scored 16 points along with three steals. That's the first time this season that Anusiem scored 15 or more points. Jakeem Richardson was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six assists.
Meanwhile, Lincoln put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 68-49 victory over Bonney Lake. That looming 68-49 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Lincoln yet this season.
Rogers now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Lincoln, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0.
Rogers and Lincoln were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, but Rogers came up empty-handed after a 61-60 defeat.
