Volleyball Recap: Beech Grove Comes Up Short

The Beech Grove Hornets came up short against the Greenwood Woodmen on Monday and fell 3-1. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-8, 22-25, 25-19.

Leading Greenwood to victory were Josh Thanga and Alfred Hmun. Thanga had 18 digs, while Hmun had ten digs. That's the most digs Hmun has posted since back in March.

Beech Grove's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Greenwood, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-12.

Beech Grove didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Mooresville on the 6th. As for Greenwood, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Jennings County on the 10th.
