After failing to score in their last game, Jefferson made sure to put some goals up on the board against Sheridan on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Rams an 8-0 shutout. With that victory, Jefferson brought their scoring average up to 3.4 goals per game.

Their offense was hitting Sheridan from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Meadow Mondragon led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Sheridan, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Jefferson will challenge Bennett at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sheridan, they will square off against Arrupe Jesuit at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Arrupe Jesuit's last five matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
