Basketball Game Preview: Village Christian Academy Knights vs. Berean Baptist Academy Bulldogs

Village Christian Academy and Berean Baptist Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2017, but not for long. The Village Christian Academy Knights will be playing at home against the Berean Baptist Academy Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Thursday, Village Christian Academy came up short against The O'Neal School and fell 44-36. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Berean Baptist Academy on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Fayetteville Christian out of the water with a 77-40 final score. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Berean Baptist Academy and bumps their season record up to 13-9. As for Village Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Village Christian Academy was taken down by Berean Baptist Academy 93-36 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Village Christian Academy was down 52-23.
