Baseball Recap: North Iberville Comes Up Short

North Iberville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the Elton Indians.

Anthony Russo was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-5. Zion Pryer was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances.

North Iberville's loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Elton, with the win, they broke their 16-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Iberville will square off against Tara at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Elton, they will face off against V.B. Glencoe Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
