Softball Recap: Duncan Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hayden last Wednesday, Duncan came back down to earth. The Wildkats came up short against the Miami Vandals on Friday, falling 16-3. The Wildkats have struggled against the Vandals recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 5-2. As for Miami, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.

Coming up, Duncan will challenge San Simon at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Wildkats are facing the Longhorns at the right time seeing as the Longhorns are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Miami, they will square off against Ray at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vandals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bearcats have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season.
