Alvin lost to Dawson on Tuesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Yellowjackets narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Eagles 1-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Yellowjackets have posted against the Eagles since April 28, 2023.

Alvin's win bumped their record up to 11-12-1. As for Dawson, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-12-1.
