Basketball Recap: Fox Chapel Comes Up Short

Fox Chapel won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were outmatched by the New Castle Hurricanes and fell 72-41. The match marked the Foxes' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, Fox Chapel still got an impressive performance from Caden Kaiser, who went 7 for 14 on his way to 14 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ike Moser, who posted six points.

Fox Chapel's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-3. As for New Castle, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.

Fox Chapel will host Butler at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fox Chapel is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.5 points per game this season. As for New Castle, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-43 victory against Mars on the 11th.
