Basketball Recap: Westside Comes Up Short

Westside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 41st straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Howard Huskies , falling 51-29. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-22 back in January.

Despite the loss, Westside saw an underclassman step up: freshman Nevaeh Glover posted 11 points.

Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Howard, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.

As of now, neither Westside nor Howard have any future games scheduled.
