Softball Recap: Byhalia Indians vs. New Albany Bulldogs

Byhalia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They suffered a rough 17-2 loss at the hands of the New Albany Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Byhalia of the 16-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March.

For New Albany's part, Avie Bryan was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. Bryan was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-1 with a double and an RBI.
