Andres Perez gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in March of 2024 on Saturday. He was dialed in as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He was dominant the last time he took on Grace last Thursday, so they probably should've seen this coming. The dominant performance also gave Perez a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

Looking ahead, Perez and Nordhoff will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as Nordhoff takes on Cate at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
