Basketball Recap: Hazlehurst Comes Up Short

Hazlehurst was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Port Gibson Blue Waves, falling 62-29. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Blue Waves this season, with their most recent loss being a 63-54 defeat last Tuesday.

Hazlehurst's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Port Gibson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Hazlehurst nor Port Gibson have any future games scheduled.
