Volleyball Recap: Hilliard Bradley Takes a Loss

Hilliard Bradley lost against Olentangy Orange back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Jaguars came up short against the Pioneers, falling 3-0. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Hilliard Bradley took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-15, 25-17.

Despite the loss, Hilliard Bradley still got an impressive performance from Kendal Barber, who had 16 digs and two assists. Barber has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played. Sophia Lopez also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Chloe Moore had an outrageously good game for Olentangy Orange as she had 17 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Moore has posted over her last eight matchups.

Hilliard Bradley now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Olentangy Orange, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Hilliard Bradley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Dublin Coffman on the 23rd. As for Olentangy Orange, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Archbishop Hoban on the 20th.
