Sonora couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the Brea Olinda Wildcats 45-0 on Friday. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Nathan Aceves had an outrageously good game for Brea Olinda as he rushed for 147 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry, and also picked up 69 receiving yards. Another player making a difference was Cullen Doyle, who threw for 223 yards and a touchdown.

Sonora will face off against Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sonora is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road dating back to last season. As for Brea Olinda, they will be defending their home-field for the first time for the first time when they go up against California at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
