Volleyball Game Preview: Sanger Apaches vs. Sanger West Hornets

The Sanger Apaches will head out to take on the Sanger West Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Sanger made easy work of Justin Garza and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Apaches haven't had any issues with the Guardians recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Sanger walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Sanger West posted their closest win since March 8th on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out McLane 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Sanger West who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 22-25, 25-22, 22-25, 16-14.

Sanger's record is now 13-5. As for Sanger West, their record is now 14-9.
