Volleyball Game Preview: Granada Bobcats vs. Stratton Eagles + How To Watch

The Granada Bobcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Stratton Eagles at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Granada will bounce into Saturday's match after beating Springfield, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Bobcats blew past the Longhorns 3-0 on Thursday. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Longhorns recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Granada never let Springfield on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 25-22.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Stratton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Flagler on Tuesday.

While Stratton might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Flagler scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-20, 21-25, 25-20.

Granada's record now sits at 12-2. As for Stratton, their record is now 7-3.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Saturday's contest: Granada hasn't let much over the net this season, having averaged 5.1 blocks per game. It's a different story for Stratton, though, as they've been averaging only 1.8 blocks. Given Granada's sizable advantage in that area, the Eagles will need to find a way to close that gap.

Granada suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Stratton in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Bobcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
