Soccer Recap: Sand Creek Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Sand Creek lost against The Classical Academy back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Scorpions fell just short of the Titans by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Sand Creek can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while The Classical Academy are ranked 59th).

Sand Creek's goal came courtesy of Thallys Fuentes, which was the first he's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Sand Creek and nudges their season record down to 2-10. As for The Classical Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-2 record this season.

Sand Creek has already played their next matchup, a 0-0 draw against Palmer on the 15th. As for The Classical Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against Sierra on the 15th.
