Basketball Game Preview: Forrest County Agricultural Aggies vs. Lanier Bulldogs

The Forrest County Agricultural Aggies will venture away from home to face off against the Lanier Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Forrest County Agricultural will head out to face Lanier after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. Forrest County Agricultural took a 41-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sumrall.

Meanwhile, Lanier came tearing into Tuesday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.1 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Rangers 52-14. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 23 points or more this season.

Lanier pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.1 points over those games. As for Forrest County Agricultural, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-11.

Forrest County Agricultural might still be hurting after the 55-29 loss they got from Lanier in their previous matchup back in February of 2018. Thankfully for Forrest County Agricultural, Keshuna Luckett (who went 9 for 17 en route to 25 points in addition to six boards and six steals) won't be suiting up this time.
