Basketball Recap: DePue Comes Up Short

DePue lost against Wethersfield back in February of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The DePue Little Giants took a blow against the Wethersfield Flying Geese, falling 60-26.

DePue dropped their record down to 2-12 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Wethersfield, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DePue will square off against Henry-Senachwine at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. DePue is facing Henry-Senachwine at the right time seeing as Henry-Senachwine is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Wethersfield, they will face off against Annawan at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
